Michael A. Pugel has over 15 years experience as a Patent Attorney and Agent covering primarily US patent application filing and prosecution, International patent application and prosecution coordination, patent portfolio management, and Intellectual Property contractual matters. Mike's patent experience covers a wide range of electronics and consumer products areas working for a leading company in product development and intellectual property licensing. Previously, Mike worked in various product development and research groups in the technical areas of digital communication systems and radio frequency communications design. Mike’s strong technical background has allowed him to quickly create strong relationships with many different types of inventors. Mike also has a strong educational background in all areas of intellectual property, including design patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.

Mike received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, BSEE (with distinction), from Purdue University in 1986, a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, MSEE, from Purdue University in 1991, and a Juris Doctorate degree, JD (cum laude), from Indiana University in 2009. He is licensed to practice in the state of Indiana and licensed to practice in front of the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Mike is also a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Indiana
